Man United news: Jadon Sancho transformed after tactical switch – expert

Ralf Rangnick’s tactics have enabled Jadon Sancho to “show his class” at Man United, according to Kevin Campbell.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker claimed the 21-year-old’s game is “suited” to Rangnick’s German style of tactics.

Sancho produced a man of the match display against Leeds United on Sunday, assisting two of the Red Devils’ four goals.

He then followed up starting, and playing 82 minutes, of Wednesday night’s creditable 1-1 Champions League draw at Atletico Madrid.

The £73million summer signing failed to register a single goal or assist under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Sancho’s upturn in form, Campbell said: “It has taken him a bit of time to settle in.

“Listen, nobody can doubt Jadon’s talent.

“United were all over the place at times this season. Now that there is a bit of structure he is finding his feet.

“He is probably used to the way Ralf Rangnick wants to play from his time in Germany. It suits him and he looks comfortable. He is starting to perform and is getting a few goals and assists.

“When you spend that sort of money, you want to get that best out of these players. He is definitely showing his class now.”
