James Maddison and Mohammed Kudus respond to Pedro Porro’s passionate Tottenham message
Pedro Porro dispatched a heartfelt message as pre-season training got underway at Tottenham this week.
Porro played a vital role for Spurs last season, despite the team enduring a disappointing Premier League campaign that saw them finish in 17th place.
The Spanish full-back made 51 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering nine assists. Porro performed brilliantly in the Europa league campaign, where he was instrumental in helping Spurs lift their first major trophy in 17 years.
Now, he will be preparing for a new chapter under recently appointed head coach Thomas Frank, who succeeded Ange Postecoglou last month.
As players returned to Hotspur Way for pre-season, the defender shared an update with supporters, reflecting on the new journey ahead.

Tottenham stars react to Pedro Porro amid exit speculation
Porro shared several photos from Tottenham’s first pre-season session back, captioning the post simply: “2025/26…” followed by a white heart and heart-eyed emoji.
The update drew plenty of support from his teammates, including likes from James Maddison, Destiny Udogie and Mohammed Kudus, who officially completed his move to Spurs earlier in the week.
Despite Porro facing criticism from sections of the Spurs fanbase over inconsistent performances during the season, he impressed during the latter stages. He was important in the Europa League, particularly in the semi-final against Bodo/Glimt, where he contributed with a goal and an assist.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed that Man City had shown interest in Porro but Spurs have held firm in their stance and reluctance to let him go, and is likely to continue with the club this season.
Tottenham could face legal action over Gibbs-White pursuit

While the club’s announcement of Kudus has been a positive headline this week, Spurs may have created friction behind the scenes.
Nottingham Forest are reportedly considering legal action against Tottenham, alleging that the North London side made an illegal approach for Morgan Gibbs-White.
Reports suggested Spurs had triggered the midfielder’s release clause and scheduled a medical for Friday (11 July). However, Forest claim they were never contacted, and all communication has since been cut off.
Whether the deal proceeds remains to be seen, but the move has certainly been delayed. Regardless, Tottenham’s aggressive approach in the transfer market signals clear intent from both the board and Frank ahead of the new season.
