James Maddison sends ‘enough’ response to Luke Littler after Tottenham message
James Maddison handed the spotlight over to Luke Littler after the darts sensation reacted to the Tottenham star’s latest celebration.
The England international has produced some impressive performances this season, and did so again on Sunday night (15 December).
Maddison scored twice to help his side to a thumping 5-0 win at Southampton, that ultimately led to the sacking of Russell Martin as Saints boss, leaving them to search for a replacement at St Mary’s.
As ever, the 28-year-old celebrated his goals for Tottenham with his imitation darts throw, on the same day this year’s PDC World Darts Championship got underway.
Littler, who has taken the world by storm since reaching the final of that tournament on debut as a 16-year-old last year, responded to Maddison’s celebration on his Instagram story, writing: “loves it the boy [Maddison]”.
The Tottenham midfielder also appears to be expecting big things from The Nuke in this year’s tournament, as he replied to that on his own story by saying: “Ur time my son. Enough darts from me. Over to you.”
Tottenham fans will hope James Maddison is not done with darts just yet
Football Insider Opinion
The darts throw celebration has become something of a signature part of Maddison’s form when he playing well these days.
As a result, Spurs supporters will surely have their fingers crossed that he has not had enough of it for the time being.
If he is continuing with this celebration, it will obviously mean that he is still scoring goals for Tottenham.

Given how important those strikes have been to some of the positive results Postecoglou’s side have picked up recently, they are not going to want that to stop any time soon when there have also been too many negative results as well.
Considering that Littler is in fact a Man United fan, it is perhaps also interesting to note that this celebration for Tottenham has caught his attention.
With the two teams set to meet in the quarter finals of the League Cup in midweek, the darts star may not be best pleased if Maddison is bringing out this celebration again just a few days from now.
In other news, Tottenham are expected to sign two players in the January transfer window.
