James Maddison sends ‘missed you’ message to teammate as Tottenham share footage
James Maddison has sent a message to one teammate after Tottenham shared footage of the pair on social media.
It has been a difficult season for Spurs, with Ange Postecoglou’s side languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League and relying on the Europa League for any hope of silverware.
That has led to a considerable amount of frustration for supporters, and Pedro Porro is one of those Tottenham fans have taken aim at in recent weeks.
However, it appears the full-back still has the backing of Maddison, judging by the latest activity on Instagram.

It was an eventful international break for Porro, who was heavily involved for Spain in their Nations League play-off with the Netherlands.
The Spurs right-back played the full 90 minutes of the 2-2 draw in the first leg, before appearing as a substitute in extra time during the second leg, which his side won on penalties.

With the international break now over, Porro has returned to his club side, which has reunited him with Maddison who has not always appeared happy at Tottenham this season.
However, the attacking midfielder is clearly pleased to see the Spaniard back alongside him at the training ground.
After Tottenham posted a clip on their Instagram story of Maddison and Porro embracing and laughing behind the scenes as the club confirmed the latter is back from Spain duty.
Maddison then shared that to his own story, tagging the Spaniard alongside the “I missed you” with a series of laughing emojis.

Ange Postecoglou needs Tottenham to finish strong
Football Insider Verdict
With speculation mounting around his future, Ange Postecoglou needs his side to finish this season in positive fashion.
The likes of Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and Fulham boss Marco Silva have been tipped to replace Postecoglou at Tottenham, following his excellent season for the Cherries.
Postecoglou therefore surely needs victory in the Europa League that ends the club’s long wait for a trophy to keep fans and stakeholders happy enough for him to save his job.
As a result, he will hope that this sort of team spirit can help lift his side to that title, a some improved results in the final weeks of the Premier League season.
If those two things are not combined in the coming months, then it is hard to imagine Postecoglou being at Tottenham for much longer than that.
