‘Jarrad Branthwaite transfer holds key to Everton summer signing spree’
David Moyes’ transfer plans at Everton could depend on the future of Jarrad Branthwaite amid ongoing concerns about profit and sustainability breaches.
The Toffees’ financial situation remains up in the air despite The Friedkin Group’s purchase of the club, after they were deducted eight points for rule breaches last season.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Branthwaite is viewed as a potential sellable asset to help the club balance the books and make room for continued spending.
This comes after former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider that Branthwaite should be valued at £100million given his importance to the side.
Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that selling the defender would allow Everton to be more flexible with their spenind ghit summer.
However, former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Branthwaite will stay at Everton for one more year to continue his development.

Everton could sell Branthwaite amid Real Madrid interest
Football Insider revealed in November that Real Madrid want to sign Branthwaite after his previous work with Carlo and Davide Ancelotti – but Everton do not want to sell.
Despite the Toffees’ desire to keep their best players at the club this summer, there is a feeling they could cash in and reinvest the money elsewhere.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson explained that the money from Branthwaite’s sale could allow Everton to spend big on marquee signings as they look to improve Moyes’ team.
“FFP and PSR have got to be taken into consideration,” he told Football Insider.
“A lot of Everton’s transfer business revolves around Jarrad Branthwaite’s future.
“It’s about whether he stays or goes.
“If they can bring in a huge transfer fee for him, it will allow them to do more in the transfer market.
“But if they decide to keep him and to build the team around him, they might have to tighten their purse strings a little bit.”

David Moyes eyes busy transfer window as key targets assessed
Moyes is eyeing a busy summer transfer window at Everton with a number of key positions in his squad on their radar before the end of the season.
Among those positions is a new winger, as Everton want West Brom star Tom Fellows as a deal was agreed with the player during the January window.
A centre-back is also on their radar, but Celtic want to keep Cameron Carter-Vickers, who had been linked with the switch to Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Robinson has backed Everton to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic in an ambitious move despite interest from the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle.
