Jarrod Bowen: Pundit issues ‘massive’ West Ham claim after reliable journalist’s update
Paul Robinson is thrilled to hear Jarrod Bowen’s injury is not as bad as first feared for West Ham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Tottenham and England number one insisted it would have been “a massive blow” had the 25-year-old had been ruled out for a significant period.
Bowen limped off after 53 minutes of West Ham’s 1-0 loss at Liverpool on Saturday evening.

However, as confirmed by the club’s head of medical Richard Collinge (6 March), an MRI scan revealed the forward had suffered “no significant injury” at Anfield.
According to The Athletic‘s Roshane Thomas (7 March), Bowen is expected to miss just two games.
The Hammers travel to Sevilla on Thursday before welcoming Aston Villa to the London Stadium on Sunday.
When asked for his reaction to the news, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “That’s great news for David Moyes.
“It would have been a massive blow for them if he was ruled out for a significant period.
“It did not look great at all when he walked off. I feared the worst. It looked like a bad injury.

“To hear it is not as bad as first thought is fantastic news for them.
“West Ham rely heavily on [Michail] Antonio and Bowen. They have struggled for goals in recent weeks so to lose him for a while would have been a big, big blow.”
