Jarrod Bowen under new agents as West Ham summer exit rumours begin to mount

Jarrod Bowen has found himself involved with a new leading football agency ahead of his suspected move away from West Ham United this summer.

The England international’s agency, PLG, has been acquired by You First’s football division, forming Gersh Football, a new, global representation business.

Bowen, along with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Fabian Ruiz, among others, were all under the umbrella of the two agencies before the acquisition.

It is unclear where anything material has changed for the players, however, with the Hammers winger expected to undergo talks this summer.

West Ham transfer chiefs are braced for offers for the 29-year-old, who is established among the Premier League’s most effective wingers.

Jarrod Bowen not behind agent change despite exit rumours

Football Insider exclusively revealed last week that Bowen is on Manchester United’s radar this summer, as well as several other clubs.

Newcastle United have sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona and could also make a move, while the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea have been mentioned.

For good reason, too, with Bowen having netted at least 20 direct goal contributions for the third consecutive Premier League season.

The 29-year-old was snubbed for an England call-up to the World Cup, but his quality is deeply respected within the league.

West Ham’s captain could have easily left some time ago, just as Declan Rice did when he joined Arsenal in 2023, but he has stuck with his club throughout the years.

Relegation to the Championship may finally see Bowen leave, and he will be well within his rights if he does, not wanting to spend his prime years in the second tier.

But the forward will not force his way out, and Gersh Football’s formation clearly has nothing to do with him or a proposed exit this summer.

What has Bowen said about his future?

No place at the World Cup will allow Bowen to focus on his future this summer, with talks expected to take place with West Ham.

The Hammers are expected to attempt to convince the 29-year-old to stay and help fire them back to the Premier League, but it remains unclear what his intentions are.

“Listen, it’s still very, very raw. Talking about futures is disrespectful to the club, the fans, everything like that,” Bowen said after relegation had been confirmed on Sunday.

He added: “Like I said, it’s disrespectful to everyone to start speaking about futures and saying what’s going to happen. Like I said, I want this club to be in the Premier League.

“It’s a club that means so much to me, that’s given me so much, so my vision is getting this club back in the Premier League.”
