Jarrod Bowen will be absolutely gutted after what teammate just said away from West Ham
Jarrod Bowen will be the most disappointed of all his teammates following one star’s new admission away from West Ham.
Despite West Ham’s 3-2 win over Burnley, a game filled with controversial moments, the Hammers remain inside the Premier League relegation zone, below the Clarets on goal difference.
Nuno Espirito Santo is attempting to steer the ship after replacing Graham Potter in September. While the team has made improvements under new management, there are still several issues to address.
Lucas Paqueta has sparked back to life for West Ham, which has made a huge difference in recent weeks, with Tomas Soucek, Freddie Potts, and Callum Wilson all making vital impacts.

Jarrod Bowen is creating a wonderful partnership with El Hadji Malick Diouf
However, one of the Irons’ best decisions in recent times has been the signing of El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague for just £19million, and the full-back has been a revelation.
Loved at the London Stadium for his non-stop tenacity and attacking ability, the Senegalese international has added a new dimension to the final third, much to the joy of his teammates.
Amongst his teammates, Diouf ranks fifth for chances created, which is very impressive from left-back, and already has three assists to his name since the 2025-26 campaign kicked off.
With Bowen always bound to be the team’s top goalscorer – currently tied on three with Paqueta – the two have formed an almost-telepathic partnership, which has already benefitted the Hammers.
Diouf already hints at West Ham exit
Despite this, Diouf already appears to have hinted that West Ham is just a stepping-stone for his club.
Reading between the lines of his latest interview on international duty, the talented full-back sees himself somewhere else other than the London Stadium, and his attacking teammates, especially Bowen, will be gutted.
Speaking to Wiw Sport (11 November), he said: “Ideally, I see myself at a top club, among the five best in the world. I think I have the potential to get there through hard work. And I hope, God willing, to achieve that.”
Although he has not literally spoken out about leaving the London Stadium, it is clear that he has career ambitions that go way beyond West Ham already. His partnership with Bowen might not last long.
