Liverpool close in on Leverkusen duo Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz

Liverpool’s summer business is only just getting started, and it’s already shaping up to be a big one. A move for Frimpong is edging closer, and the club are also making serious progress in their pursuit of Florian Wirtz.
Football Insider revealed that Liverpool are advancing talks over a £135 million deal for Wirtz, despite stiff competition from Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side have been eyeing Wirtz as a potential successor to Kevin De Bruyne, but Liverpool may have beaten them to the punch.
