Jhon Duran sends nine-word message to Aston Villa fans after bust-up
Aston Villa’s explosive forward Jhon Duran has taken to social media to let fans know he still ‘wants more’ after scoring yet again in their 2-0 Champions League win over Bologna on Tuesday (October 22).
The 20-year-old scored Villa’s second just after the hour mark with a tidy close-range finish after a well-worked cross from Morgan Rogers.
Duran is averaging a goal every 58 minutes for Unai Emery’s side so far this season, scoring seven goals in just 404 minutes of play across all competitions.
Aston Villa are now the only team in the Champions League league phase with a perfect record, having won all three of their matches and currently sitting top of the table.
Jhon Duran only just getting started at Aston Villa
The striker was furious after being substituted against Bologna, kicking chairs and throwing paper as an unmoved Emery looked on from the technical area.
Despite his remarkable form, Duran still finds himself playing second fiddle to Ollie Watkins and is yet to start a Premier League game for the club this season.
Duran took to Instagram to let fans know that he’s just getting started saying, “Raised with little! BUT NOW I WANT A LOT”

Villa have leapfrogged Chelsea into fourth place after their impressive 3-1 Premier League win over Fulham on Saturday (October 19).
Villa’s next challenge comes against a Bournemouth side riding high after a 2-0 victory over title contenders Arsenal.
