Joao Gomes sends emotional message to Andre amid Wolves exit latest
Wolves star Andre received a heartfelt message from teammate Joao Gomes as speculation emerges over the former’s future at Molineux.
The duo have created a formidable partnership in the centre of midfield, helping to lead Vitor Pereira‘s side away from the relegation zone and up to 16th in the Premier League table, even above Tottenham.
Having won six consecutive Premier League games, including victories over Man United and Spurs, it was an incredible transformation following the sacking of Gary O’Neil.
Football Insider understood in April that, following such a successful spell in charge, Wolves were set for showdown contract talks with Pereira over a new deal, having won 12 of his 25 games in charge.
While Fer Lopez and Jorgen Strand Larsen have both arrived, losing Matheus Cunha to Man United is a massive blow ahead of the new season, and now more stars, including Andre, are being linked with exits.

Wolves at risk of losing more stars
Taking to Instagram stories (16 July), Gomes wrote: “Esse de vervade!! Feliz aniversario meu irmao. Andre, te amo [That’s true! Happy birthday, my brother. I love you.]”
Taking to X (14 July), John Percy reported that Serie A giants Juventus have shown an interest in Andre, though Wolves are unwilling to consider the 24-year-old’s sale.

Football Insider verdict
Losing key stars may not be the only concern this summer, with Mick Brown telling Football Insider last month that Pereira could be open to leaving Wolves already for one of many top clubs.
The 56-year-old last managed in Portugal back in 2013 with FC Porto, since working with the likes of Fenerbahce, Flamengo, and Al Shabab, and it is believed he is interested in a return.
After losing Cunha, it would not be simple to convince any manager to follow in his footsteps, especially with a diminished squad, but Wolves are currently scouring the summer transfer window.

Football Insider understands that Wolves and Bournemouth are locked in a battle to sign Udinese’s Thomas Kristensen, and following Nasser Djiga’s move to Rangers, it is a sensible transfer.
There is a base for Pereira to build on ahead of next season, that is if the boardroom are willing to back him in the transfer window, and there are still several weeks remaining.
Wolves’ form in the second half of the season was nothing short of incredible, with safety quickly secured under the new manager, and supporters will be hoping for a similar start to next term.
