Jobe Bellingham reacts to Wilson Isidor message after Sunderland loss at Leeds
Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor posted an upbeat message on social media despite losing to Leeds United in stoppage time.
Sunderland faced a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat after a dramatic late goal from Pascal Struijk handed the home side all three points.
Isidor put in an excellent performance for Sunderland on the night, scoring the opening goal for Regis Le Bris’ side and continued his brilliant form.
However, in the final 20 minutes, Leeds manager Daniel Farke made two critical substitutions, bringing on Struijk and Joe Rothwell, both of whom played instrumental roles in securing the victory for the side.
Despite the disappointment of conceding a late goal, Isidor remained positive, sending a motivational message to fans.

Wilson Isidor proves pivotal for Regis Le Bris
Following a disappointing defeat, the French striker shared a photo on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: “The road is still long… Stay together and believe. We are Sunderland.”
Jobe Bellingham, who has recently been linked with a move to Tottenham, showed his support for Isidor by liking the post.
The striker has been in remarkable form this season, scoring 12 goals and providing one assist in the Championship. Out of his 30 appearances this season, he has started 27 games and is currently enjoying a hot streak, having netted four times in his last five league matches.
Despite Isidor facing criticism for his celebration against Middlesborough after the dramatic 3-2 victory, his ability to find the net remains undeniable and it hasn’t stopped him from scoring.

Sunderland cannot afford to dwell on Leeds defeat
Although the loss was undoubtedly disappointing, Le Bris must quickly regroup his squad as they strive for a play-off position. Currently sitting fourth in the table, the team now finds themselves eight points behind Sheffield United, who occupy second spot.
Several Sunderland players have attracted interest from top clubs, with Chris Rigg linked to Manchester United alongside Bellingham with links to Crystal Palace alongside Spurs.
With two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five matches, consistency is essential for Le Bris if they want to maintain their play-off position. With Isidor in such fine form, there is still hope for a potential promotion to the Premier League.
