Joey Barton delivers Twitter verdict on Everton victory v Watford
By Aramide Oladipo
Joey Barton believes that Everton still need to appoint an experienced manager despite their sensational comeback against Watford on Sunday afternoon.
The Toffees came back from a two-goal deficit at Goodison Park to take all three points against the Hornets with a remarkable 3-2 victory.
The visitors took full control of the match early in the second-half with Richarlison and Christian Kabasele getting on the scoresheet.
However, Everton bounced back in fantastic fashion with Oumar Niasse and substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin getting them back in the game.
Everton veteran Leighton Baines stepped up to convert a penalty in stoppage before Watford skipper Tom Cleverley missed his spot kick in the dying moments of the match.
Expressing his verdict on his official Twitter account, Barton feels that it is a big result for the club but he is convinced that Unsworth is still not the right man to take charge.
The result means that the Toffees climb out of the relegation zone and they secured their first Premier League victory since September.
