Talks between John Lundstram and Rangers over a new deal have stalled, sources have told Football Insider.
The 30-year-old midfielder is one of the top earners at Ibrox but is out of contract in the summer and is set to become a free agent.
As revealed by Football Insider, talks between both parties are well underway and Rangers have made it a top priority to sign Lundstram to a new contract.
It is understood that Gers boss Philippe Clement is personally pushing to get a deal over the line as he views Lundstram as an integral part of the first-team squad.

However, Lundstram now wants to weigh up his options before committing to a new contract with the Liverpool-born star expecting to have multiple offers in the summer.
Lundstram has been a regular in Clement’s starting lineup this season with 42 appearances, one goal and five assists across all competitions.

He joined Rangers in 2021 from Sheffield United and made a slow start to his career at Ibrox, but he has quickly grown to be a fan favourite in Glasgow.
During his three years with the club, Lundstram has won the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup as well as playing a key role in their run to the final in the Europa League in 2021-22.
