Jordan Henderson has been ‘found out’ at Liverpool after ‘two signings’ reveal – pundit

Frank McAvennie has claimed Jordan Henderson has been “found out” at Liverpool.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker said that the Reds desperately need to strengthen the midfield and will be able to attract top quality players.

The 32-year-old still has until 2025 at Anfield but his time as a regular starter under Jurgen Klopp could be up.

On 13 December, sources told this site that Jurgen Klopp’s side are laying the groundwork for two new midfielder signings, and at least one could be done in January.

The Merseysiders have set aside “huge” funds to make it happen and Jude Bellingham remains their top target.

According to the Athletic, as relayed by Anfield Watch (14 December), Jurgen Klopp is set to manage the Henderson’s game time when the season resumes.

The captain has already made 21 appearances for the club so far this season.

McAvennie insisted the Reds have the ability to bring in top players to replace their older counterparts.

Players were running by him [Henderson] and he was getting found out,” he told Football Insider.

He was playing a bit wider than what he normally was.

Liverpool

So I think Liverpool are going to have to strengthen and I think players will go there before they go anywhere else.

Teams like Tottenham are nowhere near the Champions League. It is not a given there but it is a certainty at Liverpool and that is going to sway it for people.
