Josko Gvardiol ‘pushing’ as Liverpool news emerges – ‘it will be a lot of money’, says pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Josko Gvardiol was attempting to “push his angle” after admitting Liverpool is his “dream club”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa right-back insisted Gvardiol would not turn down an offer from a different Premier League side just because of his desire to play for the Reds.
As quoted by the Liverpool Echo (8 January), the 20-year-old admitted he is in no hurry to leave RB Leipzig despite admitting that Liverpool is his dream club.

The defender came close to a move to Chelsea in the summer with Man City and Tottenham both said to be interested in the centre-back this month.
The Croatia international’s contract at Leipzig runs until 2027.
When asked if Gvardiol would turn down other Premier League clubs after his comments about Liverpool, Hutton told Football Insider: “I would not have thought so.
“It is obviously nice for a player to come out and say something like that but at the end of the day, that is maybe him trying to push his angle because that is where he wants to go.
“It does not always work out that way. He is a fantastic footballer and he is so young as well. He has a wealth of experience already so I am sure there is a lot of suitors.

“It is not ideal, I am pretty sure his agent is probably telling him to be quiet because you do not want a player saying things like that because it does cut down those options.
“If someone like Tottenham comes in, you have to be looking at that and thinking it is a good option. It is going to be a lot of money to get him out of Leipzig.“
