Jude Bellingham and Hudson-Odoi respond excitedly to Noni Madueke’s revealing message

Noni Madueke’s latest update caught the attention of Real Madrid and Inter Milan stars as the winger prepares to join up with the Arsenal squad.

Mikel Arteta left the 23-year-old at home despite cutting his holiday short, being urged to rest and recharge ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with the Gunners jetting out to Singapore for pre-season.

He is one of five players to arrive in North London, joining Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Cristhian Mosquera, but most supporters are fixed on a new striker signing.

Arsenal appear to be closing in on Viktor Gyokeres‘ signature, and with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus returning from injury, all aspects of the squad look to be in good shape for the new season.

With Madueke not yet joining up with the squad, he has enjoyed some downtime away from football and is now sharing an update on social media for his followers to see.

Noni Madueke enjoys break away from football

Taking to Instagram (25 July), Madueke simply wrote: “Lately,” sharing a series of enviable sunny holiday images before joining up with Arteta’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries were joined by Premier League stars Declan Rice, Dominic Solanke, Jarrad Branthwaite, and Callum Hudson-Odoi in liking the post.

Football Insider verdict

It almost feels as though the only missing piece of the Arsenal puzzle is a centre-forward signing, with Mikel Merino forced to play out of position for the second half of last season.

While he thrived in the final third, notching nine goals and five assists, the midfielder cannot be seen as a long-term fix at the Emirates Stadium, which is exactly why the Sporting CP striker is being targeted.

Arteta is under major pressure at Arsenal to deliver trophies, having not lifted silverware since the 2019/20 FA Cup final against Chelsea, with supporters growing restless.

With Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, and Declan Rice all in the final third, the Sweden international should shine in both the Premier League and Champions League for the Gunners.

Madueke will only add to the final-third threat, having notched 15 goal contributions during a roller-coaster campaign for the Blues last term.

However, while everything is taking shape at the Emirates, Arteta is running out of time to prove himself as the manager to lead the team forward, with fans likely to give him just one more season in charge.
