Jude Bellingham is huge fan of West Brom new manager candidate as odds slashed
Ryan Mason was finally sacked as West Brom manager on Tuesday, ending his awful short spell in the Baggies dugout.
While Tottenham fans may have sympathy for their former assistant manager, many of The Hawthorns’ faithful will be glad to see the back of the 34-year-old, who left them 18th in the Championship.
As a result, the Black Country outfit are now on the hunt for yet another manager, as they look to rescue what has been a dismal season to date.
Michael Carrick has been one of the favourites to come into West Brom after previously impressing at Middlesbrough.
However, Lee Carsley is also in the running, with Jude Bellingham previously speaking highly of the England Under 21s manager.

Jude Bellingham: Lee Carsley brought my smile back when playing for England
Carsley has impressed in the England setup since taking over as Under 21s manager in 2021.
The former Birmingham City star has overseen two Under-21 European Championships, with the latest coming in 2025.
On top of this, he was also briefly the interim manager of the Three Lions’ senior squad, overseeing five wins in six games.
Carsley was praised highly for this spell in charge, with Bellingham quick to thank the coach when his time as interim manager came to an end.

He said on his Instagram story on 17 November 2024: “Huge thanks to Lee and his staff for their work in these last few camps. Got my smile back in an England shirt, very grateful!”
Carsley the favourite to take over at West Brom
With Baggies fans keen to see who their next manager will be, Carsley has now emerged as the favourite.
The 51-year-old is now just 2/1 to replace Mason, according to one bookmaker, with Oddschecker on 7 January confirming that these odds have been slashed.
Ralph Hasenhuttl is also 2/1 to come in next in what would be his first job since leaving Wolfsburg in 2025.

Carrick’s odds have now dropped to 6/1, suggesting that the former Middlesbrough boss is still in the running for the job.
However, it remains to be seen who West Brom choose as their permanent manager going forward.
