Jude Bellingham reacts to Rodrygo message as Liverpool talks begin
Jude Bellingham has reacted to a message from Real Madrid teammate Rodrygo following the emergence of a big Liverpool update.
Rodrygo has been with Los Blancos since 2019 and during that time, he’s registered 68 goals and 51 assists in 270 appearances across all competitions, winning two UEFA Champions League titles among a host of major honours.
However, the Brazil international has started to find himself marginalised at the Santiago Bernabeu, starting just 22 La Liga matches last season and only once at the recent Fifa Club World Cup — where he managed just 92 minutes.
That diminishment has fuelled rumours of a summer exit for Rodrygo, who has been extensively linked with some Premier League giants.

Despite the rumours, Rodrygo has still been active on social media.
The 24-year-old posted images of himself on holiday in the United States with his family, captioned ‘Days in’, alongside an American flag emoji.
Rodrygo’s post drew a reaction from Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham, who has plenty of time on his hands at present, having undergone shoulder surgery.
The race for Rodrygo’s signature may be about to get very interesting indeed.
Liverpool and Real Madrid open Rodrygo talks
While Arsenal have been heavily linked with Rodrygo all summer, they may have just been overtaken by title rivals Liverpool.
The Reds are on alert for a new winger with Luis Diaz seemingly nearing the exit door, either to Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
According to talkSPORT‘s Alex Crook (17 July), Rodrygo is high on Liverpool’s list of potential Diaz replacements, adding that ‘preliminary talks’ have already taken place between the Merseyside club and Real Madrid.

The signing of Rodrygo would be eye-catching enough without considering his record against some of Liverpool’s biggest rivals.
The former Santos forward has scored four times in the Champions League against Manchester City and three times against Chelsea (Transfermarkt) — no other team in the competition has suffered more at his hands.
Rodrygo’s arrival would be yet another huge statement from Arne Slot, who has already welcomed the likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez into his squad this summer.
