Jude Bellingham sends message to Jarrod Bowen after key development
Jude Bellingham has taken to social media to congratulate Jarrod Bowen on his first England goal in their 5-0 UEFA Nations League win over the Republic of Ireland on Sunday (November 17).
England scored all five goals in the last 40 minutes to blow the Republic of Ireland out of the water and secure qualification to the next round.
Bowen, 27, bagged their fourth after Bellingham, 21, laid him off, allowing for the West Ham winner to cooly slot home past Caoimhin Kelleher in the opposition goal just one minute after coming off the bench.
Incoming manager Thomas Tuchel will have a wealth of options to choose from once he takes over in the new year and Bowen has proven to be a useful option in his 14 appearances for England.
Jude Bellingham full of praise for England teammate Jarrod Bowen
Bowen will be hoping his first England goal will give him the boost needed to propel West Ham up the Premier League table after an underwhelming start to the season.
Julen Lopetegui’s side currently sit down in 14th with three wins, three draws, and five defeats from their opening 11 games.
The England squad is brimming with talent, and receiving praise from someone like Bellingham is bound to be a confidence boost—just as he did for Bowen in his recent Instagram post.

Now that the international break is all but over, Bellingham has returned to Madrid and Bowen back to East London ahead of the chaotic festive period.
Bowen and West Ham take on Newcastle on Monday (November 25) in a game that could prove to be pivotal to Lopetegui’s future at the club.
