Jude Bellingham shared a photo with England teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold amid growing rumours of the Liverpool star’s potential move to Real Madrid.

The two are currently away on international duty with England, and both played the full 90 minutes in their 2-1 UEFA Nations League defeat to Greece.

Football Insider revealed (October 8) that Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Trent Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool try to ward off a January move.

Alexander-Arnold, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season and would be able to agree terms with any foreign club from January 1st ahead of a move the following summer.

Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold are said to be close friends, with the central midfielder surprising the Liverpool defender on his birthday.

It’s been an underwhelming start to the season for Bellingham and Real Madrid, sitting in second, five points behind arch-rivals Barcelona at the summit of the La Liga table.

Liverpool on the other hand are loving life under new manager Arne Slot, sitting at the top of the Premier League table, ahead of Man City and Arsenal on 18 points from their opening seven games.

Bellingham took to Instagram to share an image originally posted by the England National team’s official account.

Both players will be looking to put their disappointing defeat to Greece behind them as England prepare to face Finland on Sunday (October 12).

They will then return to their clubs with Liverpool set to play an in-form Chelsea side in what could prove to be a pivotal game in the Premier League title race.
