Jude Bellingham to ‘change everything’ at Liverpool after ‘sensational’ update
The arrival of Jude Bellingham at Liverpool could be the catalyst that propels the club back into Champions League contention.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Reds’ hunt for the Dortmund star.
Sources told this site on 10 December that Liverpool were close to securing the sensational signing of Bellingham in the summer window.

It is understood that the midfielder’s father, Mark, had been convinced that a move to Merseyside was the ideal next step in his career – and a deal was “virtually done”.
A full agreement was not struck and Bellingham’s price tag has ballooned again ahead of a transfer showdown in the summer of 2023 – with Man City and Paris Saint-Germain among the other interested clubs.
McManus claims the arrival of Bellingham could “change everything” for the Reds.
“Liverpool need a bit of a boost, don’t they?” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“It’s not been the best start to the season and the whole thing felt a bit flat. Bellingham is the kind of signing that lifts the whole club up, it can change everything.
“It would be for a lot of money and everyone would be so excited considering his performances at the World Cup.
“It’s a statement, it’s big, it’s what people want. It would lift the atmosphere at games, get Liverpool playing better.
“You can write Liverpool back into the top four race if they get that deal done. Can they do it in January? It will be a big ask.”

Liverpool sit sixth in the Premier League.
They are seven points off fourth-placed Tottenham.
In other news, a finance guru has claimed Liverpool’s takeover value may just have plummeted as ‘status quo totally disrupted’.
