‘Julen Lopetegui could walk out of Wolves’ after new Max Kilman twist – Agbonlahor
Wolves must keep Max Kilman amid transfer interest going into the new season.
Speaking exclusively to Football insider, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that the Premier League side must turn down offers for the defender due to the problems they are currently facing.
According to The Athletic (2 July), Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned down a £30million offer from Napoli for Kilman as The Italian champions view the 26-year-old left-sided centre-back as a potential replacement for Kim Min-jae.
The report goes on to claim that Wolves will not accept less than £35m for Kilman, who is under contract until 2026 with the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
With a potential transfer on the cards, Agbonlahor believes that it is pivotal the defender remains at Wolves for new season.
“I’d make sure to turn down any offer that comes in for Kilman,” He told Football Insider.
“I’m very worried about Wolves because Julen Lopetegui could walk if they don’t end up signing the right players.

“I know they had to sell players to improve financially, but you can’t afford to lose both Nathan Collins and Kilman, because who is going to come in after that
“You’ve already lost Ruben Neves and Raul Jiminez is not scoring the goals like he used to, so there is a lot of problem Wolves at the moment, and selling Kilman won’t help that.
