Jurgen Klopp’s next job: Liverpool manager likely to accept one of two offers – sources
Jurgen Klopp is not currently interested in taking the Germany job after leaving Liverpool, sources have told Football Insider.
Klopp, 56, confirmed in January that he will leave Anfield at the end of this season and take a 12-month sabbatical.
He has been widely linked with taking the Germany national team hot seat after that break comes to an end, but a well-placed source has told Football Insider that it is not the main priority of the Anfield boss.
Sources say Klopp does not see the squad as strong enough or capable of winning major tournaments in the near future.
It is believed a switch to La Liga, specifically El Clasico giants Real Madrid or Barcelona, is the most likely destination for the serial-winning coach.
In January, Klopp revealed his decision to leave Liverpool came as he is “running out of energy” after taking the job in 2015.

The majority of the German’s backroom staff will also depart with him at the end of the season, leaving Liverpool chiefs with a huge void to fill in the coming months.
Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso is the “number one choice” to take the Anfield hot seat.
But Football Insider revealed on Thursday (15 February) that if Alonso remains in Germany past this summer, a move to Real Madrid could be the best pathway for his managerial career – with current coach Carlo Ancelotti out of contract in 2026.
