Kane knows which players Tottenham could be signing after ‘unbelievable’ insider reveal – pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Antonio Conte may have revealed his transfer plans to get Harry Kane to sign a new deal at Tottenham.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted it would be “unbelievable” to see the 28-year-old commit his future after the transfer saga over the summer.
A Tottenham insider told Football Insider on Monday (27 December) that multiple “well-placed” sources have told him Spurs are increasingly confident of tying the striker to a new contract.

As reported by the Athletic (25 December), Kane turned down a new deal in August but Spurs could reignite those talks should the club continue to move in the right direction.
Hutton suggested the promise of high-profile additions may have turned the striker’s head.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I think after everything that happened, it would be unbelievable.
“Not just for the fans and everything but for himself. I think if this is how it’s going to progress and move forward, Harry Kane must feel there’s an opportunity now to go and compete with Tottenham moving forward.
“That’s probably the biggest thing I would take out of this situation. You wonder if there’s been talks between the manager and himself about the plans moving forward.
“What type of player they’re trying to bring in, what direction they’re going in. Obviously, Harry Kane feels he wants to be part of that.
“We can see glimpses of all that at the moment. By the way, this is with the exact same squad Nuno Espirito Santo had.
“Conte can have a few transfer windows and put his own real stamp within this team. Then there is no reason why they can’t compete for the big trophies.”

Kane’s current contract runs until the summer of 2024.
He has scored four goals in 10 appearances since Conte’s arrival at Spurs.
