Keith Wyness reveals chances of Joshua Zirkzee moving from Man United to Everton
Joshua Zirkzee could make a move to Everton in the January transfer window after falling out of favour at Manchester United.
Zirkzee has been linked with an Old Trafford departure in recent times as a result of making just four Premier League appearances for Ruben Amorim’s side this season.
David Moyes is in the market for a striker, with the Toffees struggling to get their centre forwards firing over the past few months.
Both Thierno Barry and Beto have flattered to deceive, leaving the Merseyside club in need of a new goalscorer up top.

Joshua Zirkzee would come alive at Everton
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – doesn’t believe that Zirkzee will end up making the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness revealed that the Dutch forward is on the Toffees’ shortlist, but there are names ahead of him.
Everton have also been linked with the likes of Ivan Toney as they aim to solve their striker problems.
Wyness added that Zirzkee would “come alive” on Merseyside, but that he doesn’t see the move happening.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I don’t see Zirkzee going to Everton. He’s in the top three or four on their shortlist, but I don’t think he’ll be the final solution. A couple would have to fall through before he comes in.
“He’s not the worst option at all. I think he’d do quite well within the Everton squad, I really do. And I think he’d be one of those players who would come alive at a new club.
“But no, I think Zirkzee is a little bit down the pecking order. I think there are others ahead of him.”
Man United need Joshua Zirkzee replacement
Man United will not let Zirkzee leave without bringing in a replacement in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
With Benjamin Sesko’s fitness in doubt, and Bryan Mbuemo and Amad Diallo off to the African Cup of Nations in December, the Red Devils don’t want to be left short up front.

Roma have emerged as the frontrunners to land Zirkzee, and they could secure the forward on an initial loan deal.
Rather than pay the full fee upfront, the Italian side would rather take the Dutch international on a temporary basis with an option to buy included in the agreement.
