Kieran Maguire claims Daniel Levy ‘has full trust of Joe Lewis’ as £106m Tottenham news confirmed
Daniel Levy deserves plenty of credit for hugely increasing the matchday revenue at Tottenham through his commercial strategy.
That is the opinion of finance expert Kieran Maguire, who spoke exclusively to Football Insider about Spurs’ commercial rise under Levy’s command.
Spurs reported matchday revenues of just £1.9million in the Covid-hit 2020/21 season, but that figure jumped to £106million in the financial year of 2022.

It was the first full season for Spurs in their ground-breaking Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and that was without any additional revenue from Champions League matches.
Tottenham’s overall revenue was reported at £444million – a 22 per cent increase from the year prior.
Chairman Daniel Levy saw a similar rise in his wages, taking his annual pay in North London to £3.3million.
Maguire believes the Spurs chairman deserves credit for Tottenham’s meteoric commercial rise in recent years, which has seen them become the best in the Premier League in terms of matchday revenue.
“Daniel Levy works very hard and has a definitive strategy at Spurs,” Maguire told Football Insider.
“He has helped the club move from being a club that earns between £35-40million a year in matchday revenue to a club that will likely have the highest in the Premier League.
“That will likely stay the case until Man United decide to renovate or change their stadium.

“Levy deserves credit for that, and this is why he has the full trust of owner Joe Lewis.
“Tottenham have delivered from a financial perspective, and it’s simply the football aspect that the club now need to get right.“
In other news, Tottenham have blown Everton out of the water and it’s thanks to ‘excellent’ Daniel Levy
