Kieran Tierney backed to quit Arsenal after source’s reveal – ‘I’ve heard whispers,’ says pundit
Frank McAvennie has insisted Kieran Tierney will leave Arsenal this summer amid Newcastle United interest.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham and Celtic striker said he has “heard whispers” that Real Madrid are also looking at the 25-year-old.
Last week (19 February), sources told this site that Newcastle are closely monitoring Tierney as they search for a new left-back this summer.

The £30-million rated defender is on the Magpies’ radar as they search for a defender that can slot straight in to their starting lineup.
The Scotland international has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates and is second choice behind summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Tierney has made 16 Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season, most of which have been from the bench.
McAvennie insisted Tierney won’t hang around at Arsenal.
“I have heard wee whispers that it could be Madrid,” he told Football Insider.
“I watched him come through at Celtic and I do not understand why Arsenal are not playing him.

“They are playing a midfield player at left-back. Kieran is a great defender and he is great going forward. He will not hang about no matter the money if he is not playing.
“I think [Mikel] Arteta likes him but they are playing a different way. Kieran will go, he will be magnificent. The Geordies will love him. If he went to Newcastle to be a part of that revolution he would be a star.“
