Kortney Hause may quit Aston Villa after development – pundit
Kortney Hause may leave Aston Villa on loan this summer, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Aston Villa’s record Premier League goalscorer insisted it is going to be “very difficult” for Hause to nail down a regular spot in the starting XI.
His task was complicated further as the Express & Star reported last week (1 July) that he will be out for between four and six weeks after having minor surgery on a knee injury.

The 26-year-old signed a new three-and-a-half yearcontract earlier this year (20 January) but is now one of five centre-backs that Gerrard can choose from.
Tyrone Mings, Diego Carlos, Callum Chambers and Ezri Konsa are his other options at the heart of the defence.
“I do like Hause,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Whenever he’s come in for Aston Villa he’s done well. He’s not looked phased, he’s not looked out of place, he’s looked very strong, he’s got the pace and he’s good in the air.
“It’s going to be very difficult. You’ve got Carlos and Mings who, for me, will be the first choice as one left-footer and one right-footer for Steven Gerrard.
“Then you’ve got Konsa who is going to be coming back from an injury as well and Chambers as well.
“There are players ahead of him. It might be something that Steven Gerrard looks at as, do you let Kortney Hause go on loan and play some football?

“Or, does he stay and wait just in case there are injuries and suspensions and he can get his chance.
“It’s going to be difficult for him to get in that starting line-up.”
