Largie Ramazani could agree new deal as Leeds talks scheduled
Largie Ramazani could extend his stay at Valencia beyond the end of the season as negotiations are planned with Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old has endured a mixed loan spell at the La Liga club, but has established himself as a key part of the squad, and they are keen to keep him around.
Valencia are not the only club interested in the winger and will face competition for his signature, with a return to Elland Road unlikely as things stand.
However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Valencia are unlikely to do a permanent deal and would prefer to extend his loan.
Daniel Farke’s side, meanwhile, would prefer to sell him on a permanent basis in a bid to raise funds ahead of what could be a crucial transfer window for Leeds.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Leeds are planning to accept offers for Ramazani in a bid to raise funds from his permanent departure.
As a result, they are unlikely to sanction another loan move in talks with Valencia, and may have to look elsewhere if they are to agree a deal.

Valencia have struggled financially in recent years and are unlikely to meet his asking price, but other clubs in Spain could now make a move for the Belgian.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “I don’t think he has a long term future at Elland Road right now, Largie Ramazani.
“He’s done quite well during his loan spell with Valencia, since the turn of the year he’s found his best form and fitness with six goals and two assists in 27 games.
“Valencia are keen to try and keep him, but the Spanish club would rather have him on another loan rather than a permanent deal, so there will be negotiations over that.
“Leeds would prefer a permanent exit to allow them to recoup some money from Ramazani.
“I don’t see how he could come back and win his place back in the Leeds side under Daniel Farke.
“They were able to cope with what they had this season and Leeds are probably planning for life in the Premier League next season and adding to their squad.”
How much are Leeds demanding to sell Ramazani?
Leeds decided last summer that Ramazani would not be part of their Premier League squad and was not part of Farke’s plans for the season.
Despite being tipped for a return to Elland Road, he will struggle to make his mark on the side, and they would prefer to cash in should the right offer arrive.

Football Insider revealed on 2 May that Leeds will demand £10million for Ramazani as they aim to make significant funds from the sales of fringe players.
That money would allow them to reinvest in Farke’s squad in the wake of what has been an impressive first season back in the Premier League.
Trimming a number of fringe and on-loan players will help clear space and raise money to be put into the first-team plans and help fund their ambitious plans.
