Leeds ace Lukas Nmecha responds as 49ers sign off on Rangers transfer
Rangers announced the signing of Andreas Skov Olsen on Friday, with the winger joining from Wolfsburg on loan until the end of the season.
The news comes after heavy speculation last week that Skov Olsen was close to a Rangers move.
Now, the 26-year-old right winger will be aiming to cement a spot down in the starting XI quickly as Danny Rohl adds further quality to his depth.
As a result of the news, Lukas Nmecha was one of many players who were quick to react to the signing.

Lukas Nmecha reacts as Rangers complete loan signing of Andreas Skov Olsen
Since Rangers’ takeover in the summer, Leeds and the Gers have grown ever closer thanks to the 49ers’ interest in both UK clubs.
This has seen players such as Joe Rothwell move to Ibrox, after the midfielder helped Leeds reach the Premier League last season.
However, Nmecha’s relationship with Skov Olsen’s transfer to Rangers appears to be more personal.
The two were teammates in the second half of last season at Wolfsburg before Nmecha moved to Leeds.
Despite their short time together, the pair have seemingly bonded.
Therefore, when Rangers announced on their Instagram on 16 January that Skov Olsen had moved to Ibrox, Nmecha responded to the post with a like.
Oliver Antman in precarious position following Skov Olsen’s capture
Oliver Antman has already fallen out of Rohl’s plans since the manager came to the Old Firm outfit.
The Finland international has struggled for regular starts, and injuries have further limited his game time since his summer move.
With Skov Olsen, who plays in the same position as Antman, coming into the club, it has put the winger’s long-term future in jeopardy.
Football Insider recently revealed that Antman could leave Rangers this month, with Skov Olsen’s arrival pushing him down the pecking order.
The 24-year-old has struggled to impress this season, and his game time is now likely to be more limited than ever.
However, it remains to be seen if Rohl is prepared to weaken his squad this month.
The Gers are in the middle of a fight for the Scottish Premiership title and could also win the Scottish Cup this campaign.
Therefore, parting with Antman could jeopardise this, especially if injuries occur.
