Leeds best three players this season: Midfielder like a new signing after Christiansen overhaul

Kalvin Phillips

Phillips has been in great form for the Whites this season and has become a true mainstay of Christiansen’s starting XI having started all 11 Championship matches this season.

Few can underestimate what importance the midfielder brings to the Whites side with his brilliant box-to-box style of play which sees him become important when both off the ball and on it.

The midfielder was barely used by Garry Monk towards the back end of last season due to poor form, but looks like a new signing after Christiansen’s overhaul, with the 21-year-old scoring four goals this term – including a brace in the opening day win over Bolton.
