‘Leeds doing all they can to agree Manor Solomon deal’ amid Tottenham asking price claim
Leeds United have had to “say goodbye” to Manor Solomon following his loan spell as no agreement was reached over a permanent deal with Tottenham.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Spurs and Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson explained that Daniel Farke’s side are prepared to do all they can to bring back the 25-year-old this summer.
However, they are not expected to be alone in their pursuit of the Israel international, while Thomas Frank plans to assess his future in pre-season training.
This comes after former Spurs scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Burnley are interested in signing Solomon and have joined Leeds in the race for his signature.
Both clubs are believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation in case a permanent move becomes available with Farke and Scott Parker both driving the interest.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed in May that Solomon’s future at Tottenham is an open race as Leeds will compete with the likes of Marseille for his signature.

Tottenham respond to Leeds interest in Manor Solomon
As things stand, the winger will remain a Tottenham player and they will hold out for a significant fee as he still has three years remaining on his current contract.
Brown told Football Insider that Frank will speak to his staff about Solomon to assess whether he has a long-term future in North London.
Robinson, who remains well-connected at his former clubs, explained that Solomon’s future is unlikely to be decided in the near future with no imminent decision made.
“Leeds have had to say goodbye [to Solomon] because his deal was up,” he told Football Insider.
“There was no deal struck between the two clubs.
“I don’t think that chapter is closed, but I don’t think Leeds are the only ones looking at him.
“He was excellent last season for Leeds, made 41 appearances [with] ten goals and 13 assists in the team that won the Championship.
“He’s still only 25 and he’s contracted for another few years at Tottenham, so they’re going to want a good fee for him.
“I expect Thomas Frank will take a look at him in pre-season, I don’t think Leeds will go straight back in and do a deal for him.
“From a Leeds point of view, I’d like to think they could because he’s proven he can do it at Premier League level and was excellent last year.
“To take him out of the Leeds team will be a big miss, so I think they will do all they can to bring him in.”

Josh Sargent update emerges after Rodrigo Muniz latest
Alongside their ambitions of signing Solomon, Leeds are also eyeing other attacking options to strengthen Farke’s side in the transfer window.
Brown told Football Insider on 3 July that Leeds are considering a move for Josh Sargent, with Farke the driving force behind their interest.
The Elland Road club saw an offer worth £32million turned down by Fulham for Rodrigo Muniz and are considering returning with a fresh offer for the Brazilian.
However, Football Insider revealed on 23 June that Fulham are confident of pricing Leeds out of a move for Muniz as they are determined to keep their star man.
As a result, the U.S.A international Sargent remains firmly on their radar and interest elsewhere could tempt them to make a move to beat competition to his signature.
