Leeds expected XI v Bristol City: Senior duo axed as Heckingbottom gets tough

Felix Wiedwald (Goalkeeper) – Heckingbottom is not going to cause a massive stir by dropping the Leeds number one, who has had a decent season. His only alternative is Andy Lonergan, who is still smarting from not getting a move to Sunderland in January.
Stuart Dallas (Right-back) – With Berardi and the injured Luke Ayling unavailable, a square peg must again be slotted into a round hole on the right side of the defence, which means the versatile Dallas is set to once again get the nod.
Matthew Pennington (Centre-back) – With Liam Cooper serving the final match of a four-game ban, the on-loan Everton player is set to get the chance to continue the good impression he made at Bramall Lane.
Pontus Jansson (Centre-back) – Talisman, defensive leader and arguably the team’s best player, Jansson will be key to keeping Bristol at bay. But he must be careful as another yellow card will mean a two-match ban.
Laurens de Bock (Left-back) – One of the new January recruits that is yet to wow fans but he looks a solid option at left-back and will surely keep his place.
