Leeds fans all say the same thing after transfer fianlised: ‘Hope it’s a permanent deal’
Leeds fans are all delighted to see out-of-favour winger Jack Harrison leave the club to join Serie A side Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
Harrison spent the previous two seasons out on loan at Everton before a controversial return to Daniel Farke’s Leeds ranks last summer.
Many Leeds fans disliked Harrison for the way he went about leaving following their relegation in 2023, but he has played his part this term after being welcomed back into the fold.
The 29-year-old has featured 13 times under Farke this season, but just one of those was a Premier League start as he came off the bench just once in the last nine league matches.
Football Insider previously revealed that Leeds were open to selling Harrison in January, and he has now made an exit, much to the glee of the majority of their supporters.

Harrison leaves Leeds for Fiorentina on loan after tough few months
Harrison’s last Premier League appearance for the Whites was against Brentford on 14 December, as he came off the bench for just four minutes to help preserve a precious point.
Leeds fans slammed Harrison for giving a penalty away against Nottingham Forest a month prior, and it has seemed likely that he would seal a temporary exit in the new year for a good while now.
Facundo Buonanotte joined the Whites on loan from Brighton last week to bolster Frank’s attacking ranks, with reports then emerging that Harrison was set to leave to join Fiorentina.
Leeds took to X on Monday to announce his move, saying: “Everyone at LUFC wishes Jack Harrison well as he joins Fiorentina on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.”
While their club may well have wished Harrison well, many Leeds fans were not in the mood for such niceties in their replies to his exit announcement.

The relationship between Leeds supporters and Harrison has certainly been a rocky one over the last few years, even though he was key to their success under Marcelo Bielsa.
He seems unlikely to add to his 219 appearances for the club anytime soon, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that his loan to Fiorentina includes a £6million option-to-buy if he impresses in Serie A.
In reply to his departure, one fan said: “Hope he plays well enough to make them want him on a permanent.”
Another added: “I don’t (wish him well), good riddance.”
While one supporter also said: “I do wish him well, but only because, if not, the rat will be back!“
