‘Get out’, ‘Embarrassment’ – Leeds fans finished with one man after post-match comments

Leeds United supporters have lost all faith in their manager Paul Heckingbottom following the Whites 1-1 draw against Sunderland on Saturday.

It was a game that, despite their poor form, they were expected to take maximum points from, against the Championship’s joint-bottom placed side.

After the game, the boss revealed that he was impressed by the visitors, who he felt were better than their league position suggested, and that he understood why people were thinking there had been no improvement under him.

And following his summary of the game, it looks as though the supporters are already done with Heck who only arrived at the club in the February following the sacking of Thomas Christiansen.

Wins against Bolton Wanderers and Brentford have been all the Leeds support have had to be happy about in the 11 games since taking over from the Dane.

Despite being top of the league earlier in the season, the Whites have slumped to 13th in the table and were it not for their early season form, could have been staring in the face of relegation from the Championship.

Here is a selection of angry reactions on social media to the manager’s comments after the 1-1 draw against Sunderland:
