Leeds fans could ‘turn’ on Bielsa after inside source’s reveal – pundit
Alan Hutton has claimed the Leeds United fans “will turn” on Marcelo Bielsa if he cannot oversee a turnaround in results.
The former Scotland international, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the Whites “don’t know where the next win is coming from” under the 66-year-old.
Leeds United have won just one of their last eight Premier League fixtures and have shipped 14 goals in their last three top-flight games.
Football Insider revealed today (21 December) that Bielsa is under growing pressure to keep his job and could be sacked as early as next month if results don’t improve.
A Leeds insider has told this site that the United boss “won’t be at Leeds next season” amid a growing acceptance among the club’s senior figures that his fourth campaign will be his last.
Hutton insisted a fan revolt is “inevitable” if the Yorkshire club’s slide continues.
“I think the Leeds fans like him because he’s very attack-minded, which is refreshing,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“All the games are going to be exciting, but if you’re getting heavily beaten every week – you’re going to be in and around that relegation zone.
“They don’t know where the next win is coming from at the moment. And if that poor form continues, there will be sections of the fans that turn on you.
“It’s just inevitable, it happens. He’ll be hoping it doesn’t get to that stage, but he’s got to turn it around or it won’t be long until they’re in the bottom three.”

Leeds United sit 16th in the Premier League after 18 games.
The injury-hit club are just five points clear of the drop zone.
