Leeds United are reportedly lining up a January move for prolific MLS striker Cyle Larin – and fans have taken to Twitter to mostly express their delight.
The Sun on Sunday‘s print edition claim the Championship giants will challenge Turkish club Besiktas for his signature when the transfer window re-opens at the turn of the year.
It is said that Canada international Larin is valued at £2million by Orlando City, who he joined in January 2015.
Leeds fans have noted the prolific output of the forward as well as a frame that makes him well suited to leading a front line.

The Orlando City striker, who has previously been linked to Celtic and Everton, has netted 11 goals for his club in 22 starts this season.
The 22-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of December, has an eyecatching record of 43 goals in 85 appearances for Orlando as well as five goals in 21 Canada matches.
Leeds sold talisman Chris Wood to Burnley for £15 million this summer and also offloaded Souleymane Doukara and Marcus Antonsson on a season-long loan to Blackburn.
Director of football Victor Orta has brought in four new forwards, Pawel Cibicki, Caleb Ekuban, Jay-Roy Grot and on-loan Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
German striker Lasogga marked his debut in sensational style with two goals as Leeds demolished Burton Albion 5-0 on Saturday.

But the best recruitment chiefs are always one step ahead in a forever changing market and resting on laurels is not an option. As Orta will know better than anyone, new Leeds striker hero Lasogga is only on the club’s books for a single season. It pays for the director of football to be one step ahead and have his sights firmly fixed on future options. Larin is an intriguing option and an A-list one, judging by his track record and pedigree.
