Leeds fans suggest Kalvin Phillips will re-sign after big development – ‘bring him home’

Leeds United fans have demanded the club bring Kalvin Phillips back to Elland Road this summer as his struggles with West Ham continue.

Phillips, 28, kickstarted Newcastle’s comeback in their 4-3 win over the Irons on Saturday (30 March) by conceding a penalty – sparking a dramatic backlash within the West Ham fanbase.

He was then captured on video (as seen on X) showing the middle finger to a fan who called him “useless” as the midfielder stepped onto the West Ham team bus post-match.

The England international is on loan with the London club from Man City until the end of the season but has struggled to nail down a place in the starting lineup under David Moyes.

Football Insider revealed in February that Leeds will be in the market to sensationally re-sign Phillips on a permanent deal this summer if they are promoted back to the Premier League.

Leeds fans want Phillips back after dramatic West Ham backlash

The Yorkshire club are expected to spend heavily in the summer transfer window if they return to the top flight, and the academy product is still hugely admired at the club despite his struggles to settle down at Man City following his £45million move in 2022.

And now Leeds fans on social media have expressed their desire to bring Phillips back to his boyhood club in the summer window.

In other news, Leeds have transfer “regret” as “crippling” details revealed.
