Leeds player ratings v Aston Villa: Powerhouse dominates in 8/10 outing

Forwards

Ezgjan Alioski – 6: Having scored four goals in four appearances, fans might have been expecting more from the Macedonian in the first half. His passing was wayward and he did not look to have the confidence to take Villa on as he should have.

Samu Saiz – 6: A real hit-and-miss display from the Spaniard, who would have been hoping to have much of an impact on proceedings. He demonstrated his talent with a tantalising cross which should have been converted, but also let his hot-headed nature get the better of him, booked for his exuberant protestations.

Caleb Ekuban – 6: Starting to look the real deal for the Whites, offering everything that Thomas Christiansen might want from who he chooses to lead the line. Strong, pacy and determined, he brings his team mates into play better than the likes of Kemar Roofe or Pierre Michel Lasogga. Unfortunately found goal scoring opportunities at a premium.
