Leeds player ratings v Blackburn: 28-year-old is appalling
COMMENT By Harvey Byrne
Football Insider rates the Leeds players in their 2-1 win against Blackburn in the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Rob Green 5 – Caught out by a 30-yard strike from Elliott Bennett. Needs to do better with shots like that.
Luke Ayling 6 – Battled well in defence while the energetic player also made some good forward runs at times.
Kyle Bartley 5 – Looked solid in the defence before him and Jansson were too slow in closing down Bennett before he took his shot for the Blackburn goal.
Pontus Jansson 7 – The centre-back was at fault for the Blackburn goal, but more than made up for it with the late winning goal with a header.
Gaetano Berardi 3 – The 28-year-old was appalling and put his side under unnecessary pressure at times. Fans must be praying for Charlie Taylor to return and provide another attacking outlet on the left.
Eunan O’Kane 6 – Composed in the centre of the park. The 26-year-old ensured his team maintained possession without pulling up any trees.
Laim Bridcutt 8 – The midfielder was dominant in the centre of the park and helped breakdown a number of Rovers attacks. Provided the assist with a brilliant ball for Dallas’ goal.
Hadi Sacko 5 – The Blackburn defence struggled to cope with his pace and trickery, but his final ball was often lacking before being brought off at half time.
Kemar Roofe 6 – Showed some neat touches in the final third of the pitch for his side. Brought his teammates into the game with some smart passes, but needed to produce more.
Stuart Dallas 6 – Struggled to impose himself on the match before scoring the opening goal.
Chris Wood 5 – Caused problems to the Rovers defence, but a goal was needed from the New Zealand international.
SUBS:
