Leeds player ratings in win v Burton: Star trio lack quality with 5/10 displays

Midfielders

Ronaldo Vieira – 6: While he failed to have much of an impact in the first half, despite commanding the midfield, his second half efforts resulted in the Whites taking the lead. His inch perfect through ball cut out the Burton back line and fed Kemar Roofe to turn the game on its head.

Eunan O’Kane – 5: Struggled to have the desired impact, after being chosen to start ahead of Kalvin Phillips by Thomas Christiansen. His efforts did not help the Whites gain a foothold in the game and a lot of the match passed him by.

Pablo Hernandez – 7: What a free kick to level the scores. He curled the ball around the wall from 20 yards out to slot it into the back of the net just millimetres from the post, giving Burton goalkeeper Bywater no chance of stopping his effort. It was actually the first moment of note from the Spaniard but it gave him the confidence to grow into the game and be an effective playmaker.
