Leeds player ratings v Ipswich: Duo are 3/10

COMMENT By Harvey Byrne

Football Insider rates the Leeds players after their 1-1 draw against Ipswich in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Rob Green 6 – There was little he could do for the Ipswich goal and he was generally solid between the sticks when needed.

Luke Ayling 5 – Freddie Sears simply wanted the ball more than him for the first Ipswich goal. The usually solid full-back was poor on Saturday.

Kyle Bartley 6 – Solid in the back four. Won a few aerial balls across the 90 minutes and helped shield his goal well.

Pontus Jansson 5 – Completely missed the cross for Sears’ opening goal. The Swede disappointed in Suffolk.

Gaetano Berardi 6 – Was assured without pulling up any trees once again in the left-back role.

Ronaldo Vieira 3 – The match seemed to pass him by in the centre as Ipswich were more concerned with playing the ball into the air, rather than keeping it on the floor. Brought off at half time in a tactical substitution.

Eunan O’Kane 5 – Uncharacteristically poor in the centre of the park. Struggled to maintain possession against an Ipswich midfield full of energy.

Hadi Sacko 3 – Showed good strength and pace at times. However, his final ball was lacking as it so often has this season.

Pablo Hernandez 5 – The experienced player’s poor ball allowed Ipswich to counter for the opener. An overall poor display from the Spaniard which was way below his usual standards.

Stuart Dallas 7 – Was quiet in the first half before popping up at the right moment to score the equaliser for his team.

Chris Wood 7 – He was very isolated in the lone striker role at Portman Road. However, he did well for the Leeds goal, as he held the ball up and took two defenders out of the game before feeding Dallas.

SUBS:

Liam Bridcutt (For Vieira 45 minutes) – 6

Modou Barrow (For Sacko 77 minutes) – 6

Souleymane Doukara (For Wood 86 minutes) – 6
