Leeds player ratings v Middlesbrough: Senior duo to blame in shocking 3/10 displays

Substitutes

Ronaldo Vieira (45′) – 5: Given 45 minutes of action after the disappointing first half, he did bring some stability into the centre alongside Forshaw. However Boro still ran the show, and Heckingbottom will have worries over the performances of all his central figures.

Adam Forshaw (45′) – 6: Returning to his former side off the substitutes’ bench, fans will be hoping to see him back into the starting XI as soon as possible. He is a willing runner who never gives up the cause, and his passing ability was a step up from both Phillips and O’Kane.

Caleb Ekuban (69′) – 5: Brought on to support Lasogga up front, he suffered the same problems as the German in that the ball rarely came his way. Whether Heckingbottom chooses to swap the duo around some time, only the manager will know, but this game was not an opportunity for the summer signing to show what he can do.
