Leeds source reveals how many games Daniel Farke is now from the sack

Daniel Farke could lose his job as Leeds United manager if he fails to improve their fortunes in the next five games, sources have told Football Insider.

The Elland Road outfit have now dropped into the Premier League relegation zone, increasing the pressure on the German manager.

Leeds lost 2-1 to Aston Villa on Sunday (23 November), letting a one-goal lead slip to fall to their third top-flight defeat in a row.

Sources say that the next five games will decide Farke‘s future at the club, with the hierarchy wary of being cut adrift from safety and likely to dismiss the manager if fortunes do not improve in that period.

Daniel Farke set for tough run of games at Leeds

On Tuesday (25 November), Football Insider revealed that Farke’s job at Leeds is safe for the time being, despite growing fan discontent.

Before Christmas, the Whites face Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Brentford, and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, in what is an extremely tough run of games.

Leeds supporters have begun to turn on Farke in recent weeks as the club’s promising start to the campaign has fallen away.

If the Yorkshire-based side fail to improve during this difficult set of fixtures, then the pressure will keep increasing on the German manager, which will ultimately result in his dismissal.

Brendan Rodgers is in race to replace Daniel Farke at Leeds

Brendan Rodgers is firmly in the race to become the next Leeds manager, if Farke is dismissed by the Yorkshire-based club.

The former Leicester City boss has seen his odds slashed to 9/4, and is now second in the betting to take over at Elland Road.

Rodgers quit Celtic in dramatic circumstances at the end of October after becoming frustrated with a perceived lack of backing from the board.

Despite the links with Rodgers, Bo Svensson is the favourite to replace Farke at Leeds. The Dane is currently out of work, having been sacked by Union Berlin back in December 2024.

The likes of Carlos Corberan and Gary O’Neil would also be in the running if the job at Elland Road became available.
