Leeds target Barisic may push for Rangers exit after 'just three good performances' - Hutton
Alan Hutton fears Borna Barisic may push to leave Rangers for the Premier League off the back of a good Euros.
The former Gers defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 28-year-old left-back would have a potential move at the “back of his mind” this summer.
As revealed by Football Insider on Sunday (13th June), Arsenal, Aston Villa and Wolves have joined Leeds United in the race for Barisic.
This site previously detailed how Leeds are tracking the left-back’s performances at this summer’s Euros.
The Rangers ace is on international duty with Croatia, although he missed the defeat to England through injury.
Hutton insisted Barisic would be well aware of the attention from England.

Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Look, everybody thinks they’re good enough to play at a high level. That’s just the mindset of a footballer.
“You have to be like that, you want to be able to improve, get better and play at the highest level possible. I’m sure he’s no different.
“I think he’s got all the attributes to be able to play down south. Obviously, the one difference is when you play with Rangers, you have a lot of the ball. You’re on the front foot for 90 per cent of the time.
“When you go down to England and you’re playing against some of the best players in the world, defensively you have to be on top of your game. So that’s probably the one side of his game that will get challenged the most.
“It’s going to be interesting. When the Euros comes round, the spotlight is on you and it’s up to you to perform. If you do, clubs will take a chance on the back of possibly just three really good performances.
“I think as footballers, if you’re going to the tournament, you have that in the back of your mind. If I have a good tournament here, you never know where it might lead to.”
Barisic contributed 14 assists in 50 appearances for Rangers during the 2020/21 campaign.
He has three years left on his contract at Ibrox.
