Leeds United announce ‘massive news’, ‘everyone can relax now’

Leeds United fans have been left delighted at the clubs latest announcement on one young star.

A 2-0 defeat for Leeds at Burnley leaves Daniel Farke’s side only three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Farke has been told he should not be concerned about Dominic Calvert-Lewin‘s lack of goals for Leeds, with only one netted by the 28-year-old in seven appearances.

Leeds have only scored seven goals in eight Premier League games, an achilleas heel which is hindering Farke’s team climbing the table.

Harry Gray signs first Leeds contract

One player Farke will now be able to call upon is 17-year-old forward Harry Gray, who has signed his first contract at the club.

Leeds fans have called Gray “the next Harry Kane previously and they were delighted when the news was finally announced that the young star has committed his future to the club.

Phew!!!! Now get him in the team, be nice to see someone who can finish coming on,” was one fans’ reaction on social media.

However one fan believes Gray is not ready for Premier League football: “One for the future but let’s not pretend he is a option now, deluded if you think he is.”

Positive Leeds United news are my eyes deceiving me,” said one stunned supporter.

Wonderful news. The future!,” a fan posted.

Great news.. Now hopefully this Gray can stay with us and not get used to comply with PSR,” one supporter said after Harry’s brother Archie was sold to Tottenham in 2024.

Incredible news,” was another fans reaction to the news.

Gray knocking on door for first team opportunity

Gray has been in prolific form for Leeds’s under-18 and under-21 teams, and may be given chances off the bench amid the clubs goal scoring issues in the Premier League.

Leeds have not been ruthless in-front of goal as they have an expected goals of 10.4 and have missed 14 big chances this season, which only four other teams can beat.

Scoring goals is ultimately what Leeds need to win matches and stay in the Premier League, so a gamble on Gray before a potential new addition in the January transfer window may be a smart call.
