Leeds United backed to complete three more transfers after deal agreed
Leeds United could sign three more players with the money they are about to receive from Barcelona for Raphinha.
That’s according to ex-Whites stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about his former side’s transfer plans.
On Wednesday (13 July) Barcelona confirmed they had agreed a deal in principle with Leeds United for the transfer of Raphinha.
Phil Hay reports the deal is worth £50million with another £5million in add-ons.
Leeds have already signed Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams and Marc Roca this summer.
Kenny claims two or three more signings could be on the way now a deal for Raphinha has been agreed.
“If he goes, Raphinha, there are more options there for spending even more money,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They might be able to bring two or three players in with that money. They can strengthen even deeper than they already have.
“I think that will be crucial for their season. I am really looking forward to seeing how Leeds do this season because it won’t be the same as it was last season.
“They are going to do well, I think. I actually think it is exciting times for Leeds even though they have lost two of their most important players.”

Leeds start their 2022-23 Premier League campaign at home against Wolves on 6 August.
The club are set to travel to Australia as part of their pre-season schedule.
