Kieran Maguire: Leeds United ‘delighted with the fee’ as new Chinese deal struck
Leeds United have performed well in the commercial department since their promotion to the top flight – and their latest deal is further evidence.
That is the view of finance guru Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the West Yorkshire side’s renewed partnership with Hisense.
The Whites first signed with the Chinese consumer electronics firm, whose UK headquarters are based in Leeds, back in 2019.

Leeds announced last Wednesday (11 August) that they have put pen to paper on a new two-year extension which will see Hisense join its newly-created Gold Tier sponsorship programme.
The club are now two games into their third successive season in the Premier League, and commercial income totalled £36million at the last count.
Maguire, who claimed that Leeds will be “delighted” to have renewed with Hisense, gave his verdict on their commercial performance in that time.
“I think you have got to give Leeds a lot of credit,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“They have got some pretty decent brands on board and they have delivered in terms of numbers in respect of what the commercial partners want to see. That is the way to continue, with a successful relationship.
“Leeds will be delighted with the numbers in terms of the fee they will be receiving from this latest deal, and Hisense are evidently happy with the degree of profile they are getting.”

Leeds signed a new sleeve sponsorship deal with e-commere brande Wish back in July.
They list 21 partners on their official sponsor page.
