Leeds United employee shares ‘big’ Luis Sinisterra claim after new development pre-Arsenal
Noel Whelan has claimed he “expects” Luis Sinisterra to return to the Leeds United side for the visit of Arsenal on Sunday (16 October) despite his sending-off against Aston Villa.
The former Whites striker and club ambassador, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 23-year-old could make a “big difference” against the league leaders.
Sinisterra is eligible again after serving a one-match ban for his dismissal in the draw against Villa earlier this month (2 October).

He received a second yellow card early on in the clash after preventing Steven Gerrard’s side from taking a quick free-kick.
The Colombia international had scored in his last two Premier League games prior to that game.
Speaking in the build-up to the Arsenal clash and quoted by Leeds Live (14 October), manager Jesse Marsch insisted Sinisterra is “really important” to his plans and hailed his “really clever way of playing football”.
Whelan suggested Marsch won’t be tempted to taper his involvement despite three games in seven days for the Whites.
He told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think they’ll try and get him back out on the field as soon as possible.
“He’s only missed one game – and he was exceptional up until that sending-off.
“We haven’t won in quite a while – five games now – and he’s one player who really could change the fortunes of Leeds.
“I fully expect to see him out there against Arsenal. He is one of the players who can make a big difference.”

Leeds United sit 14th in the Premier League.
They haven’t recorded a top-flight win since the 3-0 demolition of Chelsea at Elland Road (21 August).
